Sung and expressed purposefully as a melodic whisper housed carefully in the manner in which we share secrets, 2 Secrets brings art and prose to life for those who appreciate the dramatics of melancholy word play set to music.
2 Secrets, was inspired by Ava DuVernay's OWN-TV hit show, Queen Sugar. This intimate, ambient, melodic song has a seductive, sensual tone that evokes emotion and mystery. The lyrical content came to Shawndella as a freestyle when she first heard the instrumental.
The musical track, originally titled "Days Ahead", is featured as track 2 on the 2017 Kebomusic release "The Afterwork Sessions".
